I’ve not always been as fit and strong as I am today.
I understand the battle and frustration of injury, debilitation of weight gain and of feeling low, CBA and flat about yourself.
I have always been actively involved with exercise and sports though. Understanding the benefits of strength & mobility training, coupled with keeping the heart healthy for both mental and physical longevity.
Whilst hormones are not our fault, they are our responsibility!
It’s my passion to ensure that every woman knows that it’s never too late to feel strong, to feel capable and able.
That menopause doesn’t have to be miserable, and our second chapter can be where we reach our true potential.

I’ve been a fitness coach since 2006 and as I’ve aged as a female, I’ve used my own experience alongside my knowledge and expertise to help other women transform or enhance their health, fitness and wellbeing.
It wasn’t until my mid-twenties when I had an injury and some mental health issues that I realised just how much I missed being “capable” that I missed feeling like the “real me”.
I’m human, I had a 5-year blip where I allowed a back injury to dictate my life. I gained 6 stone; I was unhappy and went through a period of depression.
After the birth of my daughter Poppy in 2005, I decided to take action and re-trained in pre & postnatal fitness. I felt that back then there was little of no help for females. I established a successful Buggyfit and PT business in Cheshire and I loved the rewards of helping hormonally imbalanced women find themselves again, find their bodies again after the often-challenging experience of pregnancy, birth, labour and motherhood.
Fast forward to today and I’m now specialising in peri and menopause health & fitness.
After noticing changes in my own body as I hit 40, I took a deeper dive into hormonal health, nutrition & fitness for women 45 and beyond.
I also appreciate that my body is the only one I’ve got and if I don’t take care of it, no one else will!
I’m a huge believer that no matter your age, your weight, whether you’re in menopause or beyond, that it’s never too late to feel strong, to feel capable, agile and able. We work with what our body CAN do and not what it CANNOT.
I am told that it’s my compassion and understanding and ability to adapt that ensures everyone feels that they CAN do something. That you have the same opportunity as the next person to make improvements every day, no matter how small they may be. Small daily changes lead to big rewards.

I was fitter at 40 than I was at 30, but now I’m stronger, healthier and fitter at 50! I’m embracing every decade with a new approach to make sure I can grow old as young as possible, and I’d love you to join me!
